Only book of its kind
The information in this book is somewhat superficial if read by a Diplomate of the ACZM or of the ABVP in any of the exotic fields or if read by a practiced exotic animal veterinarian, but budding exotic animal practitioners and general practitioners who see fewer of these "special species" will find this book highly informative. The delivery is concise and the layout of this text follows the layout of the more advanced exotic animal medical texts - that is to say that it follows the evolution of chordates in an ascending fashion. All-in-all, I love this book, and it has been essential in allowing me to illustrate clearly many concepts when I am speaking with clients and colleagues.
As veterinary physiologist i think this book is too poor of informations both on anatomical and physiological aspects of exotic animals biology. I think that a good zoology book could cover this arguments in a better way and for a clinical approach it's better a clinical orienteered book.
The book came to me in a pretty good amount of time and was in perfect condition. I am 100% happy with this product.
