This book is really well written! I've been waiting for this book to be released and started reading it as soon as I got it. If you're a Chloe Fan, Dance Mom fan or just want a great read I'd suggest this book. Awesome job Chloe! You've done an amazing job on your first book. I can tell this will be the first of many more books to come !
Chloe Lukasiak is inspiring! Even at her young age of 15 (when she wrote this book), she reminds us that hard work and determination can take you far in life and on the dance floor. The book is written in a very engaging manner that will appeal to tweens, teens and adults. In this book Chloe gives sound advice on how to handle bullying by kids and adults, finding support and inspiration to achieve your dreams and never giving up. I enjoyed the many personal and behind the scenes of Dance Mom's photos, her poetry and her writing style filled with humor. I plan on purchasing more copies for others in my family. I hope Chloe Lukasiak continues writing. For a young lady of now 16, her life experiences give her wisdom well beyond her years.
These days, it is so refreshing to read an intelligent, well-written book from someone like Chloe, a little girl who grew up on TV and is known all over the world yet balances her celebrity life with an everyday life grounded in good values and thoughtfulness. Even with a ghostwriter, Chloe's voice and warm excitement shine through. While there are parts about the fun, fashion, travel, and red carpet events, it's more like she's invited you home to meet the family. I loved reading about her time filming Dance Moms, especially the heart-warming stories about the other girls. Beautifully designed and illustrated, containing super-rare photos, and absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude toward her family, friends and fans, this book shows her joy in life and appreciation for the opportunities she has to make a difference in the world.
What a great read from an even greater human being. This young lady really has overcome some interesting challenges, unique to the industry she's in, along with being surrounded by awesome people who've kept her completely grounded.She's done a great job on capturing Chloe'isms, which only she can do, and sharing snippets into her life.Grab a copy for yourself and for all of the young ladies in your life. Totally worth it.
I received the book today, and couldn’t put it down! It’s absolutely uplifting, filled with tidbits of life stories, photos, doodles, and lots of “Chloe†advice. It’s a book I plan to reorder for other family members!.
This book reflects what we as fans already knew. That Chloe is a talented mature kind young woman who is well beyond her years. She is so humble and grateful and brimming with love for all those who have been less fortunate in this world , it’s amazing. The book is a fast read and a wondersful uplifting piece of writing for young people who struggle with being comfortable in their own skin.
I have followed this young lady since she started Dance Moms. I was very upset when she was forced to leave before the show ended. As it turned out it was the best thing that happened to her because she has grown into a very intelligent and beautiful young lady. Most of all she is a great role model for all young people. They say people are born with an older soul, meaning they are wise beyond their years. I totally think Chloe is one of those people. Her ideas and ways of dealing with life are very much older than any of her age. I am most inspired by her ability to overcome her shyness to become a very outspoken person for good things. I really would have to write a book to say all the things I respect about Chole but for now, I would suggest buying this book for your kids and grandkids and hope and pray they turn out like her. Credit is given to Mark and Christi Lukasiak for being such great parents and supporting her all the way. I will be very interested to see the path Chloe takes in life.
My girl is an avid reader and she did not enjoy this. She won’t finish it.
